How to use a Hair Stick in a Basic Bun

In this tutorial, you will learn step by step how to make a basic hair bun using a hair stick.

All you need to start is a hairbrush and a hair stick.

Brush all your hair into a ponytail.

Wrap your hair around your hand. If your hair is very thick, you may want to use only a few fingers.

Then, use your thumb to twist the hair around your ponytail a few times until the ends can be tucked into place.

Now you have a loop of hair. Take that loop and hold it over the rest of the bun.

Keep your fingers on it and use them as a guide for the hair stick.

Insert your hair stick into the bun upside down and flip it over, pushing it into the rest of the bun.

Common Mistakes to Avoid When making basic bun:

The hair is too short. Hair should be at least armpit length; otherwise, it will be very difficult to create a strong bun.
